■ Iwate International Understanding Handbook “The World: We are Friends”

In order to promote international understanding, Iwate International Association has created a three handbook series, “The World: We Are Friends.”

The handbooks are in a format suitable for workshops, so that participants can freely write and discuss with each other their thoughts and feelings. Discoveries made during this process are the first step towards international understanding! (Handbooks can also be used for subjects such as integrated study, and for ethics and human rights education.)

If you would like to obtain some handbooks, please let us know using the contact information at the bottom of this page.

Also, as occasion calls, we are accepting requests for school and community workshops using these handbooks, so when you are interested in experiencing an international understanding workshop, please contact us.
