Morioka Sansa Odori is the highlight of Iwate’s summer. It will be held between August 1 (Mon.) and August 4 (Thu.), on Chuo Dori in Morioka. The Iwate International Association will be taking part in the parade for the first time in four years, and we’d like to invite people from any country in the world to join us! We’ll be wearing yukata (light summer kimonos) and traditional costumes from across the globe to help spread international friendship. We’d love for you to join us!

◇Type of Dance:#2 "Tanabata Kuzushi"
◇Number of Participants:

Limited to 100 people of Taiko drummer, flautist or dancer on a first come, first-served basis.
 (Please bring your own taiko drum or flute.)
◇Eligibility:You must be available for all of the following dates.
◇Practice Dates:July 13th(Wed) 6pm-8pm 
       July 20th(Wed) 6pm-8pm 
       July 24th(Sun) 3pm-5pm 
◇Place:   At Hikarino Hiroba in front of Malios
◇Clothing:


Yukata or traditional costume (Please bring your own. Some rental costumes are available, but availability is limited.)
