【A Visit to the Association by Nadja and Lena from Ukraine】
On May 11th, Nadja and Lena, who escaped Ukraine to Hirono Town, along with Mr. Ueno, a relative, traveled to Morioka to change the status of residence at the Morioka Branch of the Sendai Regional Immigration Services Bureau.
A employee of our association accompanied them to assist with the process and they were immediately given permission to live in Japan for one year.
Afterwards, they visited the association on the 5th floor of Aiina and spoke with the chairman and the managing director.
Nadja, Lena, Maxim and Semyon currently are staying with relatives of the deceased Ueno Ishinosuke, who was from Ohno Village (currently Hirono Town) and is Nadja's father.
