Iwate Governor`s Lecture Event

The Japan-America Student Conference-JASC was started in 1934 and was the first international exchange program for students in Japan.
Japanese and American college students spend about a month together living together and, through various discussions and activities, deepening the mutual understanding between participants from both countries. The 65th Conference is being held in Tokyo, Kyoto, Nagasaki, and for the first, Iwate prefecture.
As part of the Japan-American student conference, Iwate governor Takuya Tasso will hold a lecture event on Iwate recovery, vision for regional revitalization, as well as the future of Japan-America relations.

Anyone can attend.
Attendance is free.
There are no applications needed to come, but seats are first come first served.
