■ "TOMODACHI Summer 2012 Softbank Leadership Program" Outline

The TOMODACHI Summer 2012 Softbank Leadership Program is a program aimed at supporting highschoolers of the East Japan Earthquake's devastated areas, endorsed by the U.S.-Japanese Council and government-led TOMODACHI operation.~

A program for highschoolers of the East Japan Earthquake's areas of distress (Iwate, Miyagi, Fukushima).
Participants will spend 3 weeks at the University of California, Berkely, and learn about leadership skills and regional service.

□ Duration: July 23, 2012 (Monday) ~ August 12th (Sunday)
□ Program: Classroom lectures, weekend homestay, cultural exchange with resident students, sightseeing, and ability to participate in volunteer activities.
□ Fee: None (Full Scholarship)
□ Positions available: 300
