Recruiting participants for the Iwate International Association, Morioka Sansa Odori Team “Friends with the World”

The Iwate International Association’s “Friends with the World” team will once again take part in the Morioka Sansa Odori festival!
We are looking for people who are interested in participating in the festival with a team alongside, both Japanese and foreigners are welcome!
A great chance to be part of an international exchange through the Morioka Sansa Odori Festival!

2019, August 3rd (Sat) the second group
◇Dance Version:Dance № 2 Tanabata Kuzushi
◇No. of participants:approx. 100
◇Target:Elementary school students fourth grade and above
◇Fee:200yen(for accessories and insurance.)
◇Participation Requirements:Be able to participate in more than two of the three practice times. (The final practice day is necessary.)
◇Practice days:①July 6 (Sat) 6pm – 8pm 
       ② July 10 (Wed) 6pm – 8pm 
       ③July 28 (Sun) 6pm – 8pm 
◇Venue:Aiina 6F, Inter-Generational Exchange Area

◇Recruting contentBring your own cultural drum and practice to play it along with the rhythm.Beginners are welcome, too.For those who are able to play music for the 2nd dance called “Tanabata Kuzushi”.For those who have experience dancing the Tanabata Kuzushi or willing to learn themselves.
◇Arrangement of the musical instrumentsPlease bring your own musical instrument.(Jembe aren't included.)Please bring your own musical instrument (We are not lending any.) 
◇CostumePlease wear cultural attire that match the musical instrument or a Yukata.African cloth Kanga are available to borrow.Japanese socks (足袋Tabi) and Festival sandals (草履Zori) are necessary.Please bring your own cultural attire or Yukata.Japanese socks(足袋Tabi) and Festival sandals (草履Zori) are necessary.Please bring your own cultural attire or Yukata.Japanese socks (足袋Tabi) and Festival sandals (草履Zori) are necessary.
◇NoteThere is some foreign cultural attire available to borrow. We will collect a fee for the cleaning of the attire afterwards. Depending on the material of the attire, some might have a higher fee.※We don’t offer help to wear Yukata on the Festival day.(In case of a foreigner, please contact us in advance.) 
※Please be aware that photos will be taken during the practice days and on the festival day for our website and other publications.
