In order to support foreigners in the case of a disaster in Iwate, we are going to learn
the basis for foreign assistance in how to respond and communicate during a disaster.

Lecturer:Mr. Atsushi Nishijima (Iwate Prefecture General Affairs Department General Disaster Prevention Room Disaster Prevention and Crisis Management Superintendent)
Through this lecture, we will consider how to respond by seeing the response of the prefecture in a case of disaster and disaster prevention measures When a disaster occurs.

Lecturer:Ms. Yoko Matsuoka(Iwate University Global Education Center Professor)
Understanding of the cultural background necessary to support foreigners in the case of a disaster
and concrete examples to learn, from common troubles that are easy to take place.

■Disaster supporter Certification
〇Those who participated in the "Basic training" and "Flash-up training" × "Practice training"~ which will be held at a later date and have a foreign language skill higher than a daily~ conversation level (in the case of foreigners, a skill of Japanese higher than a daily conversation level)~ will be certified as a "Disaster Supporter"
〇The supporters who joined the previous year are also eligible to recieve a "Disaster Multilingual Supporter" certification.

■Note
〇Anyone is welcome to attend. The language proficiency is not a problem.
〇This training is in Japanese. There are no interpreters for foreign languages.
